#2 Amboseli Savannahs and Marshes Harboring Kenya Wildlife

#3 The hilly bush of Samburu

#5 Tsavo National Park

To the west, arid bush land shaped by a long volcanic plateau, clumps of doum palms and Mzima Springs fed by the melting glaciers of Kilimanjaro, home to crocodiles and hippos. To the east, the great red plains planted with baobabs. The Tsavo, divided into two sections, covers 4% of Kenya’s land area, making it the country’s largest national park, and one of the oldest.
